Refer a Friend!

Refer any non-member friend, co-worker, family member, etc. today through January 31 and you will both be rewarded!  When that person opens a savings and checking account with a debit card you will both receive $25!  Some restrictions apply.

Crystal Apple Awards
Cowlitz Credit Union is a proud sponsor of the Kelso/Longview Chamber of Commerce’s Crystal Apple Awards for excellent educators in Cowlitz County. Congratulations to the 2011 winners Lisa Mustion (Family House Academy), Brenda Crawford (Butler Acres Elementary) and Brian Mitchell (Mark Morris High School). Scholarships

Every year Cowlitz Credit Union hands out two $500 scholarships.  The Jack Elms and Brenda Godfrey scholarships are rotating scholarships whom are presented to two different schools each year.  This year, the recipient of the Jack Elms Scholarship will be a senior from Wahkiakum High School while the Brenda Godfrey Scholarship will be handed to someone graduating from R.A. Long.  Good luck to all students who apply to receive these great scholarships. 

Notice Of Changes In Temporary NCUA Insurance Coverage For Transaction Accounts

All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the National Credit Union Administration through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to members under the NCUA's general share insurance rules.
